Screw pump with its character of covering an area small, as well as good aspiration canbecome widely used artificial lift methods, But because of the complexity of the screw pumpworking environment, The study of the lifting performance is not perfect enough, whichcauses of the screw pump lifting performance failed to be fully exploited. The purpose of thispaper is to improve the performance of screw pump, and the lifting performance. Thenumerical simulation method for screw pump operating characteristics will be studied in thispaper. For accurately understanding the working principle of the screw pump, screw pumpvolume efficiency, and saving the cost of production, this paper not only has the positivepractical significance, but also enriches the relevant theory.First of all, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software for numerical simulation oftwo-dimensional model of screw pump will be used to explain the screw pump rotormovement in the process of internal fluid velocity field, pressure field and the fluid on thewall of force distribution on the influence of screw pump stator, which explains the formationmechanism of leakage of screw pump further. Results show that the increase of screw pumpspeed, eccentricity will cause the screw pump high-low pressure chamber pressure difference,increasing, the hydraulic pressure to enhance the power of the stator surface, making therubber stator shape variables increase, and the loss of fluid increasing. When the Screw pumpdeliveries high viscosity fluid,it will increase the power of the liquid on the wall, loss of fluidincrease, but on the contrary the fluid viscosity, can also prevent leakage of the fluid. WhenScrew pump rotor moves to the middle position of the stator, the hydraulic pressure to theforce of the stator wall will be the largest.Secondly, with the ABAQUS finite element analysis software to set up three-dimensionalfinite element model of screw pump, this paper will simulate calculation under differentstructural parameters of screw pump stator and rotor contact stress. And then this paper willanalyze the rubber hardness, amount of interference, eccentricity and the influence of screwpump structure on contact stress, which reflects the influence of these factors on the screwpump lifting performance. The results shows that the increase of rubber hardness, amount ofinterference, eccentricity, the wall thickness can improve the performance of the screw pumplifting structure. Based on the research of the contact stress of screw pump for theoptimization design of structural parameters of screw pump, this paper further improves theperformance of the screw pump lifting and establishes a good theoretical basis.
