Poyang Lake is one of the most important worldwide wetlands, which located atthe northeast of Jiangxi Province. In recent years, the problems of heavy metalspollution have become seriously apparent in Poyang Lake Basin, with the increasingdevelopment of economy and the over exploitation of natural resources. DexingCopper Mine, which located at the midsection of Le An River of Poyang Lake, is themain heavy metal pollution sources to local ecological environment of Poyang Lake.In this study, we have singled out several major heavy metals, such as Pb, Cu, Cd tostudy the heavy metal contamination status, the distribution characteristics of heavymetal and to evaluated the risk of ecological hazard.Through filed investigation andlab analysis of the wetland’s topsoil, the sediment and the aquatic plant, we exploredthe absorption, accumulation and enrichment characteristic of aquatic plants to heavymetals, and then carried out a study to compare the correlation between theconcentration of heavy metals existed in soil and in plant. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:The first concolution is that the contents of the three heavy metals of Pb, Cu, Cdare consisted in varying degrees of enrichment, compared with the topsoil, Sedimentin soil and sediment Poyang background values. Results indicated Cu had the highestenrichment, followed by Cd enrichment. The two heavy metal’s high content wasrelated to Jiangxi Copper Mine river acidic wastewater and industrial activities onboth sides of the river basin and urban sewage.A study area three kinds of heavymetals, especially in the emissions and followed mainly from its high content. Bycorrelation analysis, topsoil heavy metals Pb, Cu,elements Sediments Pb, Cd pollutionelements, topsoil Cu elements and Sediments Cu elements had the same pollutionsource. But the topsoil material elements Pb and Cu, Cu element sediments, topsoilsediment Cd and Cu in the elements had different pollution cause. We conducted with the Nemerow index method, the potential ecological risk index and geological cumulative index and other methods to evaluate the heavy metalpollution Lean River of Poyang Lake wetland. The results showed that sedimentaryenvironment pollution levels were as Cu> Cd> Pb. The Cu element in Lean Riversource pollution of heavy metals was lighter, but the middle hierarchical pollution washigher than that of the downstream section. The heavy metal Cd element in the middleand lower reaches of Lean River pollution was higher than that of upstream area. Thepollution of heavy metal Pb element in Lean River and Poyang Lake was free slightlydegree, in a different point of light pollution. In this paper, we also focus on the content of heavy metals in aquatic plants. Thestudy found that different aquatic plants had different level of accumulation, enrichment, transfer and absorption ability of heavy metal element. Research hadindicated that both of Polygonum orientale for Cu and the Heleocharis yokoscensisfor Cd’s absorption owned the strongest capacity; Its content reached247.06mg.kg-1and48.13mg.kg-1, respectively. Celosia argentea, Bidens pilosa, Acorus calamus,Ludwigia epilobioides such as aquatic plants for one or two elements enrichmentcapability was strong. Bidens pilosa, Celosia argentea had the strong transfer abilityof different heavy metals. The heavy metal correlation of plant and soil analysis resultsshowed that plant uptake of a specific element accumulation was influenced by manyheavy metals element interaction. The absorption of heavy metals in the soil hadcertain selectivity and differences. Therefore, further study was needed to confirmfeather Celosia argentea, Bidens pilosa, Ludwigia epilobioides plants’s accumulation.More plants was to filter out that had accumulation of heavy metals. It was useful forapply of plant ecological restoration technology in the management of compoundpollution of heavy metals in lake wetland and soil.
