| Inflatable bag packaging is the buffer packaging materials which formed by heat sealingbased on general air cushion. This study discusses its basic structures and characteristics, andanalyzes the factors affecting the cushioning performance. It is to find out the influence rulethrough the study of factors influencing the inflatable bag packaging characteristics. We willprovide the theoretical basis for the packaging design and guidance for inflatable bagpackaging on the bottled products, and make the cushioning packaging design of theinflatable bag more reasonable and reliable.Considering the drop test is the most intense in packaging system assessment test, wewill evaluate the air cushion effect through drop test and numerical simulation. Mainlythrough the drop test results and the numerical simulation to understand the behavior in theprocess of air cushion in the fall, and to assess the influence of different specifications of aircushion on the dropping impact process. We can get the different buffer effects brought by thedifferent inflation pressure and the width of air chamber and the drop height. Many relatedresearch of packaging system ignore the energy loss in the process of fall, as to simplify thenumerical analysis. But Studies have shown that the influence of the energy loss is bigger, sothe energy loss will be considered in the numerically simulate of the drop test.First of all, we plan to carry out the static compression test on the basic unit of the airbags with different conditions and get the stress-strain curve. From which we can get the itscompression characteristics and buffering characteristics with different film thickness, initialair pressure and air chamber width. Secondly, we plan to carry out the simulated falling testaccording to different specifications of air cushion, under certain covered area, choosingdifferent heavy quality, and get the different performance of the buffer with the different filmthickness, initial air pressure and air chamber width. Moreover, we numerically simulate theprocess of drop impact test using the energy method according the the stress-strain curveobtained from the static compression test, in which the energy loss is discussed. Then we getthe choose standard of energy loss under different static stress with different air cushionchamber width according the value of the test results. Thus to predict the maximumacceleration value in the process of drop impact test, the results show that it is near comparedwith the experimental values. So the numerical simulation can be used to predict themaximum acceleration value instead of drop impact test.The numerical simulation method provides a theoretical basis for the design of air bags.We put forward the design method and design flow chart for the Inflatable bag packaging ofthe bottled products. In view of this, carry out a packaging design and size parameters forwine bottles products with air bags according to the influence regularity with various factorson the air cushion, and to verify the design is feasible through the drop test. |
