Abstract:Slurry pump is a critical equipment of hydraulic hoisting system of the pipeline for deep-sea mining. In view of the problems that slurry pump is easy to wear, difficult to repair and replacement, Fluent software is used numerically simulate the solid-liquid two-phase flow in slurry pump. The effects of speed, flow rate, particle diameter and solid volume friction impact on solid-liquid two-phase flow pattern in slurry pump were researched.The main work are summarized as follows:Based on the theory of hydraulic transmission system, the calculation method of design parameter for slurry pump was proposed and used to calculate the mining system in1000meter. According to the special working environment, completed the structure design,the hydraulic design and the complex3D digital modelling design of slurry pump.Flow control equations of solid-liquid two-phase in slurry pump is established based on the two-fluid model, numerically simulate the solid-liquid two-phase flow in slurry pump. The rules of pump speed, flow rate, and particle properties influenced on the solid-liquid two-phase pressure field, velocity field, particle concentration distribution and the pump performance were obtained. those rules provide a theoretical basis for the optimization of hydraulic design of slurry pump.Stress differential equations of solid particles under Lagrangian coordinate system in slurry pump is established based on the discrete phase model, numerically simulate particle flow trajectory in slurry pump. The rules of speed, flow rate, and particle diameter influenced on the impact velocity and impact angle of particle impact on flow components wall were obtained. To explore the erosion wear characteristic of slurry pump, and guide the anti-wear optimization design of impeller and vaned diffuser.With the help of the ore transport lifting simulation experiment system for deep-sea mining to experimental research on the work performance of slurry pump. Through the contrast analysis of the experiment result and numerical simulation result, it proves that the result of numerical simulation is accuracy.
