Chapter1The health inspection significance and the current research progress of crystalviolet (CV), malachite green (MG),1-naphthol (1-NAP) and2-naphthol (2-NAP) wereoutlined, respectively. The basic principles and the quantitative basis of the ratio derivativespectroscopy were introduced, and they were used in this topic for elimination coexistenceinterference in simultaneous determination of multi-component. While the basic principlesof the cloud point extraction techniques in sample preparation were biographies.Chapter2In this work, a new method has been proposed for simultaneously determinethe CV and MG in samples solution by spectrophotometry after cloud point extractionusing derivative ratio UV-Vis spectroscopy. Under the optimum conditions, the newmethod can enhance the determination’s precision and selectivity compared with thecommon method. Processing the resulting UV absorption spectrum utilization ratioderivative method, the maximum amplitude wavelengths were438and476nm for MGand CV, respectively. For simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of MG and CV,linearity was obeyed in the range of1.0×10-8~1.0×10-6mol/L, with detection limit of3.96×10-9mol/L for MG and4.96×10-9mol/L for CV. The relative standard deviationsfor MG and CV were less than3.96%and4.31%, and the recoveries were91.9%~104.0%and98.5%~110.0%respectively. Method of operation is relatively simple fordetermination of environmental water samples with satisfactory results.Chapter3In this work, a new method has been proposed for simultaneously determinethe1-naphthol and2-naphthol from aqueous solution by fluorescence method after cloudpoint extraction and preconcentration using derivative ratio fluorescence spectroscopy. Under the optimum conditions, the determination’s precision and selectivity of this newmethod can be enhanced compared with the common method. Processing the resultingfluorescence spectrum utilization ratio derivative method, the maximum amplitudewavelengths were438and385nm for1-naphthol and2-naphthol, respectively. Forsimultaneous determination of1-naphthol and2-naphthol, linearity was obeyed in therange of1.73×10-8~6.6×10-7mol/L and1.59×10-8~6.6×10-7mol/L with detectionlimit of5.19×10-9mol/L and4.77×10-9mol/L. And the recoveries were99.8%~104.3%and99.7%~102.9%, respectively. Method of operation is relatively simple fordetermination of environmental water samples with satisfactory results.
