With the development of economy and science, the quantity demanded of ink is growingfast. While people favor toward water-based inks because of its environmental characteristics.The pollution of water-based ink wastewater caused by washing and production has gotattention by people when study in the production process of water-based inks. Water-basedink wastewater with high color, high COD, difficult to deal with has become a major problemon industrial pollution. Therefore, the study of water-based ink wastewater treatment hasbecome a hot topic in the field of environment.This experiment taking water-based ink wastewater from an institute in Xi’an as theresearching object, discussed the effects of water-based ink wastewater by acid precipitation-ozone oxidation treatment, and inspected some important optimization of process parameters.The main findings were as following:The water-based ink wastewater chroma was10000times, COD was10000times, BOD5was5300mg/L, SS was1010mg/L, TN was30mg/L, TP was16mg/L, pH is9.69. Adjustedthe pH of water-based ink wastewater with sulfuric acid (1+1) was2.26、3.61、3.80、4.87、5.55、6.41respectively, the removal rate of chroma was98.4%、99.7%、99.4%、98.4%、96.8%、96%respectively, and the removal rate of COD was30%、44.4%、66.7%、69.4%、71.2%、72.3%respectively. Comprehensively consideration the treatment effect and economicfactors, the best pH was3.80.After the pretreatment of acid precipitation, the water-based ink wastewater chroma was60times, COD was12000mg/L. Set the ozone concentration was0.5g/L、1.0g/L、1.5g/L、2.0g/L、2.5g/L respectively, the removal rate of COD was19.6%、42.0%、63.1%、65.7%、67.3%. Set the contact time was5min、10min、15min、20min、25min、30min、60min,the removal rate of COD was17.7%、39.0%、58.6%、74.0%、75.1%、76.1%、76.7%.Comprehensively consideration the treatment effect and economic factors, the best ozoneconcentration was1.5g/L and the best contact time was20min. In this paper, the researchresults showed that the acid precipitation-ozone oxidation had good treatment effect onwater-based ink wastewater.
