The project of60000T/year Polycarbonate (PC Project) is a key part of Sinopec Mitsubishi Chemicals Polycarbonate (Beijing) Co. feacturing in the complexity in working procedure, heavy load on overlapping construction, complicated geographical conditions and multiple seasons. In this paper, the construction and schedule control of PC project are analyzed and studied. In this paper, the aim is directed to the project organization and schedule control of6000ton/year PC project. The control objectives and systems of the PC project management are built based on the analysis on the project mission and feactures. The project construction and control are decomposed into different sections in according with the rule to facility the project management and engineering project control. Corresponding control procedures are established and specific flow chart and resource allocation are planned accordingly. In a further step, various aspects including human resource, machinery, materials, management and environment involved in the project construction are considered and detailed description on the project implementation are provided. Hence, the control objectives and control systems, control procedure and means are given from section to section. At last, the effect of project management are summarized and analyzed. It is exploited that the adoption of the technique and means provided by scientific project management and project quality control lead to the reduction in the construction cost and ensuring of the construction schedule and quality. Hence, the mission of the project construction is accomplished well.
