In recent years, micro-texture surface has been widely applied on cuttingtools.This paper uses Nd: YAG all solid state laser in the cemented carbide(YG8)surface processing line(ZX)、 grid (WG, grid Angle60°,90°,120°), micro hole(WK),arc (YH) four kind of shape of micro-texture, and each shape of micro-texturehas a5%,10%,20%,30%four different areal density. Micro-texture on the surface ofthe cemented carbide plate with pure Al2O3ball pair in UMT-2type friction and weartesting machine under the condition of dry friction the friction and wear test, study thefriction and wear properties of micro-textured on the surface of the cemented carbide.This paper designed four groups of friction and wear test of test, respectively under thecondition of dry friction pure Al2O3ceramic ball with smooth surface (SS), smoothsurface of coated solid lubricant MoS2(SSL), not filling MoS2surface of themicro-texture (TS), filling MoS2of the surface of the micro-texture (TSL) four kinds ofthe cemented carbide disk friction test sample. And using the test data of frictioncoefficient of friction test as the evaluation standard, the different friction velocity anddifferent load conditions size parameters of the micro-texture type, micro-texture andsolid lubricants on the friction pair the influence law of friction and wearcharacteristics. has been studied.Through the analysis of the friction test results. Get the following conclusion:①Under the same experimental conditions, each area density in TSL specimen,the circular arc form sample has the minimum average friction coefficient, therectilinear sample has the maximum average friction coefficient, but are less than SSLsample;②Under the same experimental conditions, with the increase of micro-texturearea density, the friction coefficient of each sample are presented to fall, after risingtrend. Micro sample pits of density is the most sensitive area;③Under the sameexperimental conditions, In SS, SSL, TS, TSL four of the sample surface, the averagefriction coefficient from big to small for TS> SS> SSL> TSL.In this paper the finite element analysis software(ABAQUS) was used to simulateand analysis the friction process,get the influence of micro-texture to the cementedcarbide surface stress,in the friction process. Combined with theoretical analysis, showthat, under the action of sliding friction in the process, the friction extrusion, fill in themicro texture solid lubricant being squeezed out and apply on the friction surface to form the lubrication film to reduce the friction coefficient. In addition, in the slide area,continuous rectilinear/grid fractal texture has a long length of friction, the frictioncharacteristics of large area. Discrete type micro pit texture has the ability to form asmall area of the air lubrication film. Discrete circular arc texture with thecharacteristics of the two, and it also has a linear texture and grid texture not degradethe performance of the friction surface micro impact. All of these characteristics are themain reasons of micro texture anti-wear.
