At present, according to the new national standard, the most thermal power plantshave been built flue gas denitration facilities. Meanwhile, the distributed control system(DCS), because of its powerful features, is widely applied to the control of thermal powerplants. This paper is based on a DCS testing service of flue gas denitration project of a2×660MW power plant, analyzing the denitration technology and testing of DCS system.This paper analyzes the main contents are as follows.First of all, this paper introduced an overview of the project, elaborated theenvironmental challenges that China’s power industry is faced with, as well as thedevelopment trend of domestic and foreign flue gas denitrification technologies, thenfocused on the principle and process of SCR technology, and studied the technicalfeatures of the DCS software platform Guodian Zhishen EDPF-NT PLUS system.Secondly, from the hardware and software design, this paper analyzed the two partsof EDPF-NT PLUS system. At last, completed the design of the system, allowing theoperators to monitor and operate the field devices from computers. Hardware design,including hardware installation and network configuration, and ultimately achieve thesystem power-up condition. Software design, including how to build the softwareplatform, and how to design the production process configurations and the logicalconfigurations.Finally, this article elaborated the testing content and testing process of thisdenitration DCS system, analyzed some problems and solutions, and offered some dataobtained from the168-hour test run. This article is able to provide a reference to similarDCS testing projects.
