Printing and dyeing industry was the largest industria which apprpached the sewage in our country, the feature of wastewater were organic matter content, high chromaticity, change of water quality, watertemperature water etc. According to the characteristics, currently we dealt with printing and dyeingwastewater by the combination of biochemical and physicochemical process and achieved goodtreatment effect. However there were high energy consumption and high sludge reducing in the process. These problems also made the cost of treating printing and dyeing wastewater improved. This article ofresearch purposes is seeking to the low sludge reducing and low energy treatment process to printingand dyeing wastewater. the main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1) A combined process of UASB hydrolysis acidification、three aerobic treatments and coagulationwas used to treat single fiber wastewater and can obtain better effect. The result showed that theremoving rates of CODcr and chroma were40%and70%by UASB hydrolysis acidificationreactor. the effluent B/C ratio was increased to0.4; the removing rates of CODcr and chroma were55%and28%by AB aerobic。2) The orthogonal experiments of coagulant precipitation in beeker were carried out with polymericAlCl3(PAC) as coagulant and with polyacrylamide(PAM) as coagulant aid to precipitate thewastewater. The experiments showed that the treatment could be obtained with PAC at35mg/L andPAM at1.2mg/L3) The research results showed that UASB reactor had the advantage in CODcr、SS and color removalcompared to attached reactor. In addition, it played a very important role in sludge reduction andreduced the energy consumption of the project. It was worth being promoted and application.4) The monitoring data of the operation project showed that three sections aerobic setting was favor offorming a unique biome in its segments and was conducive to wastewater treatment; The returningsetting of A section and B section could reduce energy consumption. The B and C segment formedtwo segments method and reduced the excess sludge production.5) When operated, we could adjust the sludge retention time and dissolved oxygen concentration bycontrolling the operating conditions. If we controlled the sludge retention time of the aerobicsection A and B for more than70days respectively, it would be conducive to the reduction ofsludge; If we controlled the dissolved oxygen of the section A,B and C at0.3mg/L,0.8mg/L and3.1mg/L respectively, it would not only make the reactor to form its unique ecological system, butalso reduced the energy consumption of aerobic treatment;6) In the process of the UASB hydrolytic acidification reactor, three stage aerobic and coagulatingsedimentation, because of the installation of the efficient hydrolysis acidification reactor, the control of the operating conditions and the application of the biological predation principles, it showed greatadvantages compared with other processes, for example, the low power consumption, low sludgeproduction, etc. So, it was worthy of promotion and application.
