In today’s ever-changing environment, the river is facing unprecedented destruction and pollution. Recently Zhejiang Province raised a total of five kinds of water treatment concept, in which water ecological management is a fundamental rule. Therefore, River water ecological management is the fundamental of Five Waters Governance, it’s urgent and necessary to set the reasonable model of ecological river management according to local conditions. Demonstration analysis and information consultations are as follows:1) Mean modes of river ecological managementMountain streams of the river should be taken to change the traditional linear design of the river, using the duplex section form, combined with the local reality, the full development should have restored the river shallows and pools alternating river ecosystem diversity. In plain river network region of the River should be retained as far as possible natural earthen bank slopes of the river. Banks of the river was given priority to with planting grass and trees. Levee design was considered the retaining wall with riparian landscape according to different terrain and topography. The river urban village gathering place ecological governance was mainly dredging the river, heightening thick dike, building some small bridges, culverts, gates and other hydraulic structures; paying attention to the protection of the ecological environment of the river.2) Mean technologies of river ecological managementRiver plane (morphology) and the status should be designed to keep the original and comply with the natural conditions of the river bend naturally; river section (diversification) designed to change a single structure, protect and repair the natural shape of the river section, the cross section including trapezoidal cross-section, double section and other sections; ecological slope protection and bank protection technologies, including materials slope, engineering measures protection and new ecological revetment; bio-ecological management, including biofilms, biological gate, floating rafts, biological floating islands and other soil bio-engineering organisms; urban river shore to follow the principles of natural vegetation recovery, functionality, native and introduced species combined design; waterfront landscape facilities including water stage, lighting fountains, and other hydrophilic stairs, unique local characteristics conferred landscape more meaning.3) Cases analysis and consultations Select Tong River channel management in Yuhang district of Hangzhou city for an example, combined with the specific cases, the management ideas and specific measures were expounded to improve the river water environment quality and the coastal river landscape, advance the river functional and environmental bearing capacity, raise the level of the surrounding economic and social development in order to provide a reference for future river management, to provide theoretical basis and practical experience for five water treatment, to provide effective technical guidance and reference for the river channel management from city to city of Zhejiang province and even China.
