| Continuous sand filter is a new efficient type of sewage treatment mechanics developed based on current technology at home and abroad. It has various advantages such as simple and compact in structure, continuous operation, great capacity, good filtering effect, low power consumption, small space occupancy, easy installation, low maintenance costs and so on. Continuous sand filter could be widely used in urban sewage treatment industry, and it could also play an important role in wastewater industry of oilfield.The project discusses the latest developments in filtration equipment at home and abroad, summarized and compared the structural innovation of continuous sand filter in recent years. Because of the universality and complexity of filter industry, analysis of what kind of model and structure is more suitable for specific target markets.The project designs a new structure of continuous sand filter. Compared with current continuous sand filter, some significant reconstructions have been made in continuous sand filter, including both lift sand system and distributor. The problem of low efficient lift sand, frequent clogging in the pipe, bad-distributed with water and so on are well solved in the project.The project simulates the key flow field by using CFD software. It provides evidence to the rationality of sand washer’s structure. Optimized distribution design is made by analysis of flow field. The project simulates gas and liquid two-phase flow field of geyser pump by VOF model, proves that geyser pump is more superior than air pump at the properties of lift sand by means of simulation of generation and disappearance of Taylor bubble and analysis of flow field. |
