Steelmaking and continuous casting is a complex production process with multiparallel machine, multi process, interleaved logistics path and high energy consumption.The formulation of scheduling scheme already exist great difficulty, the order changes andmachine fault will also increase the difficulty of problem solving. The main purpose ofthis paper is to shorten the furnace’s transport time, closely connect all production stages,reduce resource and energy consumption, and speed up the scheduling in dynamic event.The paper established a constraint satisfaction model, and designed an improvedheuristic and backtracking algorithm to solve the rescheduling problem of steelmaking andcontinuous casting. First, the study introduced the basic theory, including productionprocess and perturbation of steelmaking and continuous casting, notion and techniques ofconstraint satisfaction based on the researched status of steelmaking and continuouscasting production scheduling both in domestic and foreign, then changed it to constraintsatisfaction problem. Second, aiming at new furnace inserts, the paper set up initialconstraint satisfaction model in production scheduling according to the process ofsteelmaking and continuous casting. To establish the dynamic constraint satisfactionmodel, the changes leading by time disturbance could be added to the initial constraintcollection as new constraints. An improved heuristic and backtracking algorithm was usedto solve the problem. Third, aiming at machine breakdowns, the same process above, thepaper added the changes leading by machine disturbance to the initial constraint collectionto establish the dynamic constraint satisfaction model and solve. At last, the paper appliedthe modeling and solving methods into an actual iron enterprise, and got an idealscheduling result through many experiments. So we can conclude that the algorithm canguarantee the rescheduling results timely and accurate, and it can be used to guide theactual production.
