| The study of the liquid loading in natural gas under hilly terrain condition is veryimportant to the safety and efficient operation of the pipelines.This paper is to research themechanism, effect factors and distribution of the liquid holdup of hilly terrain pipelines basedon the existing models and professional softwares.The factors affect the liquid holdup loading mechanism can be included as threekinds:the physical characters of gas-liquid flow, the pipeline geometries and the operationcondition.The paper is based on these factors to research the regulation of flow pattern,liquid holdup and the pressure drop.This paper fihures the pressure drop using the existing nine models and professionalsoftware OLGA. Compared with the historical experimental data, we can divide the fieldthat these models will work more efficiently. At last, I introduce the new model-TJDanielson model, because it is a model based on mathematics, it will be a guidance in thefuture..In hillly terrain pipelines, the most frequency and dangerous flowpattern is slugging, soI make more work on it. I conclude the formations of the slugging,and anasys the mainparameters of it,then chose the fittest model. At last, I chose the E.M.AI-safran model andthe holdup of the liquid slug model to modify the slug tracking model–Taitel&Baker model.So I establish the new modified model.The simulation is based on the FLUENT, I mainly focus on the parameters of the flowpatterns, lower elbow’s holdup and the pressure drop of the entire hilly terrain pipeline,thencompare result of the simulation with the modified model, the conclusion is that when underlow gas liquid ratio,the model matches the simulation well,when high,it’s precision isreduced. |
