Study On The Reserve Division Of Mopanshan Drinking Water Source And Comprehensive Planning

With the development of urbanization and industrialization in China, the securityof urban drinking water has appeared gradually and the environmental problem of wateris more and more obvious. The shortage of water resource, water contamination and theinsufficient of water supply ability have become the restraining factor in the city’ssustainable development. Researches on comprehensive control of urban drinkingsources have become the hot issue in the domain of water environmental protection inour country.This paper focuses on the Mopanshan drinking water source, based on the researchof environmental risk assessment in recent years, early warning model of water qualityand the comprehensive control of water source, after our investigation on Mopanshandrinking water source, we described the pollution status of Mopanshan and conductedrisk identification on it. Through our research on the risk identification of drinkingwater source, we put forward some countermeasures for the comprehensive control ofMopanshan drinking water source. The main research contents can be summarized asthe following three aspects.First, we make water source protection zone partition of Mopanshan drinkingwater source, using the water quality model and experience method respectively. Basedon the present state of Mopanshan reservoir and the advantages of the methods, thispaper synthesized two approaches to re-partition the protection areas of the water sourceinto three levels, and delineated the water area and onshore zones respectivly. The resultis of great significance to the water source management and comprehensive regulation.Second, this paper identified the risk of the drinking water source of Mopanshan.According to the actual situation, it surveyed the present status of the water quality ofthe reservoir and the surroundings of protection zones. Based on the existing populationin the protection zones, it forcasted the long-term emissions of non-point source pollution, analysed the water quality trend, and indentified the possible risk. Resultsshowed that the non-point source pollution is the main problems of drinking watersource of Mopanshan, and the eutrophication tendency is more obvious in recent years.Last, based on the result of the identification of the risk and case study for drinkingwater source treatment abroad, this paper put forward some countermeasures for thecomprehensive control of the drinking water source of Mopanshan in Harbin. The paperalso proposed some prevention and control measures of point source and non-pointsource pollution and the drinking water source management requirements.
