| Spiral bevel gear milling machine which is a kind of widely used machine tools forspecial purpose, is requested to have a good dynamic and static characteristics to ensuremachining precision and efficiency. To improve the precision and the efficiency of themachining of spiral bevel gears, it need to make full use of existing design and testmethods to improve the dynamic and static characteristics, in order to meet the spiralbevel gear milling tooth machine for processing of high precision, high efficiencyrequirements. This paper give an example of a certain type of spiral bevel gear millingtooth machine, to analyze how to use the CAE tools based on the finite element methodand vibration test method based on the experiment to make static characteristic analysisand optimization of CNC spiral bevel gear milling gear machine. In this paper, the mainwork contents are as follows:(1)Based on CAD software Solidworks and finite element analysis softwareANSYS, the CAE analysis model of spiral bevel gear milling tooth machine is established.And on the basis of this model, the static and modal analyses both are made. After that,the improvement direction of the main components is analysed on the whole according toeach order modal got by the modal analysis. Based on the data obtained from the finiteelement analysis, the sensitivity of the influences to natural frequency is determinedwhich is the changes of the steel plate thickness and the layout for parts. Then, thesensitivity relations between plate thickness and components of the static stiffness areanalysed.(2) Based on CAD software Solidworks and finite analysis software ANSYS, finiteelement analysis modeling of the whole of machine tool is established. What’s more thestatic and modal analyses are finished, so we can get the deformation of the machine ineach direction and the former six order vibration mode. On the basis of these data theweak link of spiral bevel gear milling tooth machine is determined. After that thesensitivity of the influences of the whole machine is ensured which come from thechanges of the steel plate thickness of the lathe bed and column,(3) The experimental modal of the spiral bevel gear milling tooth machine can beobtained by using the vibration test method. The experiment modal contains the influenceof the combination, which make the results more accurate than the results obtained by the finite element analysis method. Making a comparison of finite element analysis results tothe result of the experiment can verify the veracity and reliability of and finite elementanalysis. After that, the spiral bevel gear milling tooth machine can be optimized designdepend on the existing finite element model boundary conditions.The main object of this article is spiral bevel gear milling tooth machine which isdedicated machine tool, but the host for the optimization design of the dynamic and staticcharacteristics is a common problem in the design of numerical control, therefore, theobtained conclusion is also applicable to other types of CNC machine tool design. |
