| UV curing coating is an important approach in the development of coatingindustry which has been commonly used in many fields. Free radical-cationic hybridUV curing system owns good comprehensive properties which could take goodadvantage of both the merit of free radical system and cationic system. In recent years,the synthesis of hybrid monomer and the synthesis of cationic photoinitiators has beenresearch hotspots and many kinds of them have been synthesized in foreign countriesbut in our country, the research of both has just begun and not to say to becommercialized. And for cationic photoinitiators in the only currently synthesis ways,relatively drastic conditions maybe necessary.(1)In this paper, expoxidized soybean oil which is a kind of abundant andenvironment friendly materials was chosen, after esterifying with acrylic acid hybridmonomer-partial esterified ESOA which has low vicosity and good comprehensiveproperties were synthesized. The reaction time was shortened and the esterificationrate were improved by choosing appopriate combined catalyst and optimizing theprocessing condition.The reaction was proceeded in110℃within5h with the ratio of n(epoxygroup):n(carboxyl)=4:3by using the mixture of chromium acetylacetonate (CrAA)and triethylamine (TEA) catalyst with the dosage of0.3%,n(CrAA):n(TEA)=2:1,methoxy phenol with the dosage of0.1%as the inhibitor. The structure of the resinwas characterized by means of IR spectroscopy and NMR spectrum.(2)We developed easy, safe, cheap and effective preparative procedures toobtain4,4′-dichlorobenzene iodonium hexafluorophosphate.The optimal operation variables were described through single factor experimentand orthogonal experiment: when n(chlorobenzene):n(sodium periodate)=2.6:1,15mlacetic acid and20ml concentrated sulphuric acid at50℃for2h with the yield above64%. Then the salt was tested by Ultraviolet spectrometer, IR spectroscopy and NMRspectrum. And the photoinitiability of which was tested.(3)Finally, the hybrid monomer and cationic photoinitiator and IHT-PI184were combined together to form free radical-cationic hybrid UV curing system andthe properties of which were compared with radical curing system(acrylic resin andIHT-PI184), cationic curing system (epoxy resin and iodonium salt), another hybridUV curing system(acrylic resin, epoxy resin and IHT-PI184, iodonium salt). Theresult showed that the hybrid UV curing system owns good comprehensive properties which could take good advantage of both their merit. The hardness of the film ofself-made hybrid UV curing system reached2H and adhesion rank1, flexility2mm,impact resistance over25KJ/m2, Tg114.553℃, acetone rubs over230times,furthermore, it could be degraded after being buried in the soil which wasenvironmental. |
