Heavy metal pollution of farmland exist in the form of compound,and contaminated to alesser extent. So planting a variety of crop with lower cumulative of heavy metals is the way todeal with heavy metals contamination in soil. Chinese flowering cabbage is widely grown insouthern China, which sensitive to heavy metals and easily exceeding the standard. So in thispaper, a pot experiment was carried out to study bioaccumulation of Cd in edible parts of37varieties of Chinese flowering cabbage, screened low Cd accumulation cultivars. A hydroponicexperiment was carried out to study the genotype variation of Cd, Pb and Cr accumulation inChinese flowering cabbage. And analyzed the correlation of heavy metals and nutrients. Finally,a pot and a hydroponic experiment were used to study the roots accumulation mechanism ofheavy metals. The results showed that:(1) Different cultivars of Cd accumulation were significantly different under different soilCd levels. Hotel50days, Jianyezaolv, Zhenxinyouqing, Jianye40days and Youlvcutaibelonged to the low Cd accumulation cultivals at lower concentrations of Cd. AndGuangdongtexuan, Potou70days, Baishayouqing50days and Baishayouqing60days belongedto the high Cd accumulation cultivals at lower concentrations of Cd.(2) Adding exogenous Cd, Pb and Cr, Compared with only add Cd, the properties of Cdaccumulation changed. Dongguan60days, Hotel50days, Youxin3, Meixinjianye, and Cuilv80days with low accumulation characteristics of heavy metals, Guangdongtexuan, Austrialia100,Youlv50days, Potou70days, Sijiyouqing and New Zealand701with high accumulationcharacteristics of heavy metals.(3) Correlation analysis showed that Cd was significantly positive related to Ca, Cu, Mgand Fe. Pb was significantly positive related to Ca, Cr and Cu, Pb was significantly negativerelated to Mg. Cr was significantly positive related to Ca, Zn, Cu, Na and Fe. The content ofheavy metals were significantly positive related to Ca in edible part of Chinese floweringcabbage, speculated that Chinese flowering cabbage uptake of Cd, Pb, Cr is associated withcalcium ion channel. (4) The experiment of Calcium ion channel inhibitors showed that LaCl3can cause theinhibition of roots accumulating heavy metals, among them the effect of Pb was the biggest,followed by Cr and Cd. The inhibition rate of roots absorption of Ca was38.16%. Rootsabsorption of Cd, Pb and Cr were closely associated with calcium ion channel.(5) The content of DOC, free amino acid, Cl-and heavy metals in high cumulative varietywere higher than low cumulative varieties, showed that the root secretion characteristics haveimportant effects on low heavy metals accumulation of Chinese flowering cabbage.
