Drum mixer is one of the four main host sintering plants, as modern machinery andequipment developing to the direction of large-scale and complication, drum mixer alsoneeds innovation to realize the sintering equipment of green environmental protection,sustainable development.At present, the most of the domestic sintering plant of using metal roller supportinvolute gear transmission drum mixer, the mixer is high quality, large volume and lownoise. Due to the cylinder body in the working process of the mixer mixing materialcontinuous cast down, it makes the metal roller continuous under impact load, eccentricloading of material and involute gear meshing inherent characteristics make mixingmachine vibration problem is particularly acute. Some sintering plant also use rubber tyredrive, but due to the rubber material cannot pass big torque, the cylinder mixer is notsuitable for the development of bigness.Aimed at the problems existing in the traditional drum mixer, the paper analyzes andassimilates the advantages and disadvantages of traditional drum mixer, this paperpresents a polyurethane tire asymmetric support pin tooth meshing transmission more newdrum mixer, introduces the new structure characteristics of a cylinder mixer in detail andcalculate its main parameters.According to the results of calculation, this paper determines the pin tooth structure,with the aid of3d aided designing software counter gear, this paper uses analyticalmethod and finite element method to analyze the static characteristics of the twotransmission ways, according to the simulation results, the form of pin gear transmissionis determined.On the analysis in the strength of the new drum mixer, stiffness meet the staticsproduction requirements, the new cylinder mixer and cylinder are the traditional supportstructure analyzed, through a large number of simulations for reasonable arrangement. Tomake each polyurethane tire force difference is small, the reasonable arrangementoptimization design makes the tires to get the best tyre spacing, and the optimized tire force are analyzed.After determining the new mixing drum pin gear transmission and polyurethane tiresupport form, through the dynamics software ADAMS of mechanical performance of newtype mixing drum motor analysis, the result validates the rationality and feasibility of thenew type cylinder mixer.
