It is an important means to use roof high drilling drainage gob gas at this presentstage in the management of coal mine gas gauge.on the same time, it has great impacton mine gas drainage. This paper summarized the gob gas flow characteristics anddistribution, make an analysis on the mechannism and technology of roof high drillingdrainage gob gas.Combined with the actual situation in face Ⅲ4423, using theoreticalanalysis, numerical simulation tools, field measurement and so on to make acomprehensive research on gas migration law under the condition of roof high drillingdrainage gob gas.Using Gambit establish a simplified physical model of goaf,which is based onusing knowledge of fluid mechanics and combined with the actual situation of faceⅢ4423.Using the theory of computational fluid dynamics to find the mathematicalmodel of gob gas transporting.using the Fluent to simulated high gas drainage drillinggas migration law in two different conditions,which are with or without the high gasdrainage drilling.make a comparetion the dififerent conditions,and draw a conclusionon migration low of the goaf gas.Based on the measure on the faceⅢ4423, using the Prediction to predict the Gasvolume of gas Emission source, calculated the gas emission volume of Mine Ⅲ4423goaf gas,estimate the height of "vertical three zones" according to the overlyingstrata hulking coefficient. Permeability and viscous drag coefficient of the physicalmodel provides the numerical simulation basic data.Through the engineering test of the nine roof high drilling, extraction volume ofroof high drilling drainaged goaf gas can reach the highest of19821.74m3.the least ofthe nine roof high drilling extraction volume is8093.66m3, the overall effect isgood.make a analysis on the impact factors of face Ⅲ4423roof high drillingdrainaged gas, combined with the results of numerical simulation, proposed theoptimization measures of the roof high drilling.
