The Sue’s gas reservoir is a typical lithologic trap which is transverse composite stackedwith multiple single sand body.Average reservoir porosity of7.2%and average permeabilityof0.43×10-3μm2means low porosity and permeability of reservoirs. It can not meet the needsof effective stimulation by simply using horizontal well technology for mining. But stagedfracturing of horizontal wells based on the conventional fracturing can create multiple crackswhich are independent of each other and produce no interactions, resulting in more obviousstimulation. Therefore optimization of fracture parameter is one of the key to the constructionof fracturing. On the basis of full research at home and abroad influencing factors of stagedfracturing and fracture parameters mechanism of action,we established mathematical andphysical models of staged fracturing aiming to The Sue’s gas reservoir characteristics of lowporosity and permeability and developed the horizontal well fracturing of gas reservoiroptimization design software. Two sets of heterogeneous models of different permeability areestablished by application of software and the optimized fracture parameters can be achievedthrough the simulation of horizontal section length, crack length, fracture conductivity, theangle between cracks and horizontal segment.Meanwhile, the transverse and longitudinalfractures are compared, and the feasibility of longitudinal cracks is also analyzed.Throughabove studies, influence of fracture parameters on the well performance could be obtained, theoptimal fracture parameters is optimized for each geological model and optimization designtheory of gas reservoir horizontal well of staged fracturing suitable to The Sue’s gas reservoiris developed. The combination of the theory and field further validate the accuracy of thetheory. The results show that reasonable fracture parameters can effectively improve wellproductivity and extend the stable time,so as to achieve the purpose of increasing production.
