Along with the industrial development, the humanity living standard areimproved,environment problem get increasingly more of attention, and stench gas as apollution of a wide range is a cause for concern,the stench gas detection technology inrecent years has been development, including gas chromatography (GC), massspectrometry (MS) Law, color, artificial olfactory discrimination method,electronicinstrument determination, mainly with sensor technology and technology advances, so thatthe electronic instrument in the gas detection in applications are becoming morewidespread. This article is based on industrial emissions of foul-smelling gases as theresearch object, using the method of sensor, developed with continuity, and to be able toreal-time detection stench gas installations. The research content belongs to the nationalkey project, is part of cooperation with the Tianjin environmental science protectionproject.This article from the economy, practical and so on the aspects considered that, toconducts the research and the design based on the gas sensor array odor detector set.Mainly is take the C8051F020monolithic integrated circuit as the control core to achievesignal acquisition and processing of the gas, simultaneously realizes to the air feed powerunit control, complete the test gas to the process, the design input from the keyboard, aswell as digital display output, and so on.The structure of the system design including the hardware design and softwarearchitecture design. The hardware architecture design mainly has the sensor arrayrecuperation circuit design, the monolithic integrated circuit periphery hardware connectioncircuit design, the serial port communication channel design as well as the air feed powerunit design and so on. The software architecture design mainly includes the master routinedesign, the timer interrupt design, the serial port interrupt design. The programming,including the sampling procedures, key processing, and digital display program.This article has studied the electrochemistry type sensor, the metal oxide compoundsensor and the PID light ionization sensor, including the principle of work and therecuperation electric circuit. Main measurements of gas was hydrogen sulphide, ammoniaand VOCs, selecting ethyl acetate as representatives of volatile organic compounds. Through the detection of gases to be measured at different concentrations, depending on thedata analysis, rationally adjust the signal conditioning circuit to improve detection accuracy.In addition, has made the introduction to the air feed power unit, including components,how they work, and the work process, and proposed in the air feed power unit possiblyaffects the sensor examination result the factor as well as the improvement method.At the same time, this article on RS232, RS485and current loop has three methods ofcommunication do in-depth research, the final choice is RS485serial communication form.Through a number of sample experiments showed that this device has excellentrepeatability, high stability and sampling process is convenient, easy to operate and so on.And reliability and timeliness to meet project requirements and therefore has broadapplication prospects and importance of innovation and value.
