In recent years, the recovery and utilization of secondary resources (such astungsten smelting slag, scarp tungsten products, alloy scrap tungsten-containing wastecatalyst) was increasingly urgent with continuous reduction of the tungsten mineralresources. In order to recycle tungsten from an enterprise which contained tungstenscarp, studied the acid leaching residue from super alloy scrap of efficient extraction oftungsten, and made the appropriate product. Main conclusions were obtained asfollows:1) Tungsten is separated by Alkali Fusing-Water leaching method. The effects ofthe experimental parameters such as roasting temperature, roasting time, dosage ofalkali, immersion temperature and immersion time on tungsten recovery wereinvestigated. The experimental results showed that the roasting temperature was700℃,roasting time was40min, the mass ratio of acid leaching residue is mixed with sodiumalkali5:4, immersion temperature was80℃, immersion time was30min, the recoveryrate can reach the highest.2) By ion exchange method, tungsten in the crude sodium tungstate solution wasbeing enriched and tansformed. By comparing the performance of three models resins,201×7resin was choosen for the experiments.3) By adsorption experiments, The effects of the experimental parameters such astemperature, time, stirring speed and resin amount on tungsten adsorption wereinvestigated. The experimental results showed that under the conditions of anadsorption temperature was50℃, time was4h the stirring speed was240r/min, resinamount was10ml, and volume of solution was100ml, the adsorption rate can reachthe highest. Which had been changed the operating temperature of the resin adsorption effect was more obvious, however, that change the stirring speed and resin amount wasnot great.4) Desorption results showed that: in the desorption temperature was50℃,desorption time was3h, ammonium chloride concentration was4.5mol/L, ammoniaconcentration was1.5mol/L desorption works well. Desorption rate can reach99%. Itworks well that descorption effect of changing temperature and ammonium chloride, and the impact of different desorption time and desorption of ammonia concentrationon the rate was not obvious.5) The Ammonium Paratungstate (for short: APT) can be obtained by evaporationcrystallization. Results were identified according to GB10116-88, it was found that:Ammonium Paratungstate (APT) basically complied with the APT-1standards with acrystallization temperature was90℃, crystallization rate was80%.6) It proved that this technology could successfully adsorb the tungsten fromTungsten alloy scrap, get the final Recycling products Ammonium Paratungstate(APT).
