Particle size composition of the coal slime flotation feed is a very important factor for theflotation efficiency. In the flotation process, in addition to the regula tion of agent, slurryconcentration, flotation time and other factors, the effect of particle size which is evoked bysulrry’s particle size showing different, but also affects the flotation efficiency to a great extent.To investigate its reason, coal with different particle size will mainly change the surface electricpotential of slime, the crystal structure, surface physicochemical properties of mineraldistribution, and lead to the change of coal slime flotation efficiency. The survey found,Shenhua Mengxi Qipanjing coal washery flotation feeding problems exist in high ash slimeflotation concentrate ash content, low ash, high tailings in the flotation process. This paperattempts to explore the best flotation kinetics theory of flotation feed particle size. Research andimprovement of flotation of the plant, improve the quality and efficiency of coal slime flotation,and make the greatest degree to create economic benefits for the enterprise. Through theflotation dynamics principle, design and flotation tests, to a level of flotation kinetics formulaas the basis, the research of coal in different particle size composition (including different sizeand different hybrid single particle flotation efficiency), physical and chemical properties ofdifferent time of flotation concentrate. Research and analysis of the experimental results can befound, the goodness of fit value curve of flotation concentrate yield values were computed by aflotation kinetics formula can reach about0.9. When the final requirements of coal ash is lessthan or equal to10.5%, can be seen from the fitting results, slime particle size is about-0.355mm of the mixed grain, coal slime flotation kinetics constant k values and thecorresponding values for the flotation efficiency ε can reach the maximum. And it can bedetermined that the best size of flotation feed condition is-0.355mm of the slurry particle size.When it comes to the improvement of the process, it should be comprehensivelyconsidered the economic investment with a acceptable range and the field of originalmachinery plant specific layout to make a reasonable plan. For the coal slurry system, thispaper from the point of view that, in order to ensure the efficiency of screening the same vibration sieve, hit the turn than the original system (sieve size is0.4mm), the advantage ofchanneling water sieve, sieve pore can be adjustable screen smaller (sieve size is-0.355mm),and then decreased the content of coarse sieve under in the, it ensures that the size of flotationfeed requirements, make the coal slime flotation rate can be improved. In the flotation process,this paper concluded that the original process of coal slurry flotation system, as a process ofroughing, two scavenging, roughing and scavenging for open circuit flotation foam flotation,flotation concentrate and tailings ash rate low ash rate phenomenon is serious, the flotationperfect index of flotation in low, the material is optional. After the transformation of a roughing,two scavenging, and the two stage closed circuit flotation clean coal to a wash, can to someextent reduce the flotation feed ash, also extended the flotation time and materials, through thepromotion of the coal ash can reach the required value, that is less than or equal to10.5%.Selective flotation perfect is better, and index of flotation is improved.
