A series of chitosan (CS)/poly (vinyl alcohol)(PVA) hydrogel membrane were prepared by using glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) as cross-linking agent. The influence of changes in the dosage of GMA and the raw material ratio of PVA and CS on the swelling properties, mechanical properties, thermal properties, moisture content, solvent resistance, biocompatibility and degradation and so on was studied respectively. Experiments showed that the ratio of PVA and CS for5:4, the addition of GMA can improve mechanical properties of the hydrogel membrance. At the same time, solvent resistance and swelling capacity first decreased then increased with the increace of crosslinking agent, the optimum dosage of GMA is5%. And change the ratio of PVA and CS raw material experiments showed that when the dosage of GMA was certain (3%), the ratio of PVA and CS for5:3, in addition to the solvent resistance, the performance of other items showed the optimization. MTT experiment and lysozyme degradation proved that hydrogel had good biocompatibility and degradability. In addition, the chitosan (CS), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and L-cysteine as raw material, with methyl glycidyl ester of acrylic (GMA) as crosslinking agent, was synthesized by chemical crosslinking and light curing the chitosan/poly (vinyl alcohol)/cysteine composite hydrogel. The effects of dosage of cysteine, light initiator on the properties of the composite hydrogel were examined. Test showed that swelling capacity and solvent resistance of the hydrogel membrane first increased with the increase of L-cysteine then decreased, and the toughness increased from13%to200%by joining a small amount of L-cysteine, but too much made humanity and strength decreased. The addition of the initiator had certain influence on the material appearance. All aspects of performance in the addition amount of1-cysteine and GMA optimal molar mass than1:1.
