The damage of organic pollutants to environmental waters and other environmental problems that result from organic pollutants have been taken more and more attention of the public and become a new concerned global environment problem. At present, researches focus on residue analysis, toxicity test and medium distribution of all kinds of organic pollutants, but it is less known that the toxicity of total organic pollutants and the correlation of their components. It is directionally significant to clarify the correlation between them and define the main toxicity factors of different kinds of waters for taking the corresponding control. In this study, we took the different kinds of drain outlet waters around the Bohai aera as research objects. It was tested by photobacteria method, chlorella and cells toxicological methods. Based on the20drain outlets, the principal component analysis (PCA) was applied to study the relationship between15organic pollutants and the types of organic pollutants sources. And the correspondence analysis (CA) was also used to conclude the correlation between the toxicity of total organic pollutants and their components. The toxicity analysis derived from three methods showed that:Suo water is rank poison area; Renzao water, Lvwen water and Daliao water are in highly poison areas; wastewater treatment plants of Lvshun, Weifang water and Wuli water are in heavy poison areas; Taoer water, Liuli water, Fuzhou water and Dafu water in middle poison areas; Beitang water, Baisheng bridge of Jinzhou, Shatou water, Dagu water, Weifang water, Zhangwei water, Jiaolai water, Anzi water and Dongying water are in low toxicity areas.The15kinds of organic pollutants have been widely detected in Bo Sea. There is high correlation between similar pollutants, especially the sulfa drugs (r>99.80%). The results of PCA clearly showed that the distribution of organic pollutants of the20drain outlets in Bo Sea can be reflected by4principal components:the contribution rates are32.834%(CIP, NOR, SAR, DAN, E3, SDZ),20.223%(SMM, SM, SMZ),16.485%(DES, SM2, BPA, OP) and11.361%(CAP, HE), which showed that the relationship between the distribution of total organic pollutants and pollutant sources. It can be concluded that there is high correlation between the kinds of pollutants and the properties of pollutantsThe results of CA showed that there is high correlation between the grades of organic pollutants toxicity and their components. Sulfonamides and quinolones were highly related to high toxic waters and low toxic waters. In this study, the toxicity of organic pollutants of the Bo sea outlets has been well assessed and the relationship between toxicity and pollutants has been deeply researched. Moreover, the aim of connecting the pollutants and the monitoring points to analyze, explain and deduce the environmental pollution condition has been achieved.
