MBBR is a new developed CMCBR in recent years. The MBBR has many features, such as the operation convenience, the mass biofilm, a great variety of microorganism species, the shock resistance ability and the ability of removing nitrogen and phosphorus, so it is popular with many scholars and researchers.This experiment is based on the low temperature and the high concentration of municipal sewage pollutant in northern areas in winter. The sewage we use for this experiment is the digestion tank sewage mixed by the researchers in the academy of environmental science in Liaoning, We study the microbial hang membrane, HRT, aeration amount, padding filling rate, the COD concentration of influent and the influence on the effect of TN and TP removal by volume loading in this experiment.The experiment shows that microbial membrane is hang through spoil disposal method, being hang for about22days in around18℃, which is almost in steady stage. The removal rate of COD and ammonia nitrogen can respectively reach90%and60%. The spoil disposal method for hanging microbial membrane has such advantage that not only is the time short, but the microorganism has stronger adhesive ability. The removal rate of COD, ammonia, TN and TP is respectively89.8%,58.3%,36.8%and47.4%in the condition of14~18℃, HRT10h, aeration amount320.3L/h and padding filling rate40%. The removal rate of COD, ammonia, TN and TP is respectively around the steady level of78.0%,51.7%,36.3%and43.7%in lower COD concentration condition. The removal rate of COD, ammonia, TN and TP is respectively around the steady level of88.5%,44.0%,34.8%and48.6%in higher COD concentration condition, which has stronger shock resistance ability of COD volume loading. The experiment also shows that DO has a great influence on ammonia nitrogen, TN and TP. In a general way when the DO concentration is higher, the removal ability of ammonia nitrogen is stronger and when DO concentration is4.5mg/L, superlatively the removal rate can reach65%.The removal rate of TN and TP can respectively reach45.2%and58.2%.when DO concentration is around2.0mg/L. Through the observation various species of microorganism adhere to the padding, such as vorticella, flagellate and rotifera. The large biofilm amount is heavily helpful to sewage treatment. The recovery ability of MBBR is considerably strong when the temperature gets so low and the restart occurs. Finally, the dynamics of MBBR processing sewage was researched in low-temperature.
