Mechanical oil extracting are used at the90%of oil fields in China,and80%of themechanical oil extracting are adopting pumping equipment which concludes pumping unit,rodpumps and sucker rods. Nowadays most Beam-pumping units are used in most of the oilfieids.Beam-pumping units are reliable and their stucture is simple,while their piston pumpingprocess are always sinple harmonic motion,whose has a quite big friction loses and low workefficiency.For this reason various kinds of pumping units who have both lackness andadvantage are promoted,such as chain pump units,belt pumping units,Linear motor pumpingunits and hydraulic pumping units.The objective is to explore working principle and basical structure design of the parts,suggest the basical working theory of cam pumping unit,analyses on the theory model,kinematics and dynamics model. Single column energy-saving type cam pumping unit is akind of no-beam pumping unit which adopts double spiral reciprocating mechanism,and itrealizes automatic reversing by its single column double spiral stucture. Most of the process ofsingle column energy-saving type cam pumping unit is uniform motion,which makes it moreeffective. Single column energy-saving type cam pumping unit overcome many difficulties oftraditional beam-pumping units,it realizes stroke adjusting through adjusting the multiplecombination of helical cam-number of columns.Whats more,single column energy-saving typecam pumping unit realizes stroke adjusting by variable frequency adjusting and gearshift,which makes the process of pully exchanging in stroke and frequency adjusting moreconvenient. Tower structure of single column energy-saving type cam pumping unit helps thelong stroke,which makes it a big well-repairing space for the crown block. In a word,singlecolumn energy-saving type cam pumping unit,which has advantages of simple structure,smallsquare and low cost,is especially suitable for offshore oil production platform and cluster wellsproduction.In the end we conduct the statics and modal analysis of cam pumping unit andcam shaft through the ANSYS software.The cam pumping unit in this object is a new kind ofpumping unit.Theories in this object can also guide the followers in the terms of theory.
