Casing is an important part of drilling engineering, but the common casing operation may easily lead to drill pipe sticking which causes that we need to use other tools to build mud cycle, so Petroleum Engineering researchers home and abroad have developed different types of casing continuous circulation system. This paper makes detail description of four different types of casing continuous circulation system in their structure, working principle, technical characteristics and application, and conducts comparative analysis of their applicability, advantages and disadvantages taking into account specific national circumstances.For the casing equipment of Sheng li Oil Field and the requirement for casing technology in Oil Field production, we designed a new casing continuous circulation system under conditions of the casing diameter of139.7mm,17.5MPa mud pressure. It mainly contains hanging and fixing mechanism, the second catching mechanism and circulation and perfusion system. We designed and checked the parameters of the hydraulic cylinder, threaded connections, the main force components, springs, and so on, and conducted finite element analysis on the key mechanism-the second catching mechanism which is the main force components, and whose structural style affects their stability and strength. Our analysis based on the finite element method starts from the tilt of a horizontal cylinder to analyze the installation space and strength restrictions using MATLAB, ANSYS, ADAMS to get the qualifying structure and achieving the optimum design of the catching mechanism. Finally, a new kind of simple equipment was produced based on the theoretical calculation results, and then, we improve our equipment according to the test problems. This device can complete casing and infusing cannula at the same time, and make casing more smoothly, which greatly reducing the overall cost of drilling.
