| Oil and gas pipelines is a very important way of oil and nature gas transportation.Itplays a more and more important role in the national economy and defense industry.Butpipeline corrosion and crack caused by the defects such as leakage accident to the industrycaused great losses, at the same time also brought extremely adverse to the social andenvironmental impact.Therefore,the oil and gas pipeline safety is particularlyimportant.Manifold fillet weld is a very important part of pipeline.Because of the specialstructure of manifold fillet weld defects we don’t have a more effective and reliable testingevaluation method.By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the commonly useddetection methods, the ultrasonic detection technology has high detection sensitivity, easy tocarry,test results intuitive and other characteristics,however,there are many technicaldifficulties in the manifold fillet weld test of the conventional ultrasonic detection method,buta new type of ultrasonic phased array detection technology just can overcome this problem, soeventually the methods for phased array ultrasonic detection carried to the manifold of filletweld test.Firstly,on the manifold structure characteristic and working performance and strength offillet weld are analyzed,we have a comprehensive understanding on stress distribution of themanifold fillet weld.Next to the manifold fillet weld defect types and the characteristics anddistribution of defects of characteristics and the causes and the harm has carried on the furtherresearch,we have a thorough understanding to the manifold fillet weld.We design the referenceblocks of manifold fillet weld according to the special structure of manifold fillet welds.The article based on others theoretical research in the field of ultrasonic testing.Andanalyzed the working principle of phased array ultrasonic detection.Including transmitting andreceiving principle of phased array,and focusing the phased array acoustic velocity deflectiondelay and sound velocity delay calculation.According to the principle of phased array,wecarried on the manifold fillet weld of the phased array inspection technology research.Finallyaccording to our research of fillet weld of phased array detection method for fillet weldtest.Finally, the test results are analyzed.Compared the size and location of flaws with theactual value of artificial flaw.Eventually determine whether the manifold fillet weld detection method can successfully detect the defects existing in the fillet weld, summarizes the filletweld phased array detection method. |
