The effect of Coal mine exploitation to the ground water system is always theimportant problem people pay attention to. The area that Jinjie coal mine located at,which names Yushen coal mine, is the sensitive and fragile ecological environment. Inrecent years, Coal mine exploitation has made many problems, like water level declineand spring cutoff. Thus, it is necessary to study the destroy mechanism to ground watersystem of Jinjie coal mine exploitation. In order to get the certain results and give thereference to protect the ground water resource in Jinjie coal mine productive area,Visual Modflow software is used to simulate and forecast the effect of Jinjie coal mineexploitation to the ground water combined with the hydrological geology concepts, hydrological geology conditions and its mathematical models in this paper.According to the real observational data, the area’s and coal mine hydrologicalgeology dates, the author studied the hydrologic cycle mechanism and the effect towater resource of the4thphreatic and artesian aquifer after exploitation. Meanwhile, theeffect of ground water system of Jinjie coal mine exploitation. is discussed. In the paper, the ground water flow of the simulating area is simplified as theunsteady flow3D system of Non homogeneous isotropic plane. The east and the northof the coal mine are the supplying boundary. The west and the south of the coal mineare the discharging boundary. And they are both simplified as the2ndboundary. Invertical direction, the author simplifies the3D geological structure through using theDEM ground-surface height data, geological drilling and cross-section map, whichconfirm the height of the ground and the aquifer. After finished above, the author sets upthe ground water model of the coal mine through considering the space’s change of themodel parameters richly, and ascertains the model source sink terms. And then, dividesthe parameters of every geological stratifications, evaluates to them according tohydrological geology conditions. On the basis of above, the author distinguishes themodel parameters using the ground water observational data, then test and verify theparameters’ value. At last, through the tested model, the author concludes the effect ofwater level variation of coal mining.According to the forecast results, the initial contour line of water level of phreaticaquifer declines after superior coal mining, maximum decline is6meter. After superiorcoal mining, medium and inferior coal mining affect less relatively. The maximumwater level drop of the weathered bedrock fissure aquifer after superior coal mining is 25meter; the medium and inferior ones are from1to5meter.
