The Research Of Submerged-gate Casting Method

Casting is a very important basic technology in production, Benefited from the computer aided technology, it has rapid development. In this paper, a new casting technology called submerged-gate casting has been put forward. Based on this technology, with the computer technology,the gate submerged the fluid during the whole pouring process, which would contribute to smooth filling and solidicaiton feeding. Based on this technology,the quality of the casting and the production of the casting are ensured.It used computer to build CAD model of casting and then slice the model Afterwards, boundry conditions such as sectional area and height of slice, submerged depth of the gate etc. were taken into Bernoulli equation and obtained the displacements of gate varied with time.In this paper, a small test system has been designed,and with the water simulation experiment, analysis and verification the process of submerged-gate casting, modify the existing problems. Combined with the method, experiment of casting has been designed,and the mold blocks of the tire tread has been maked.In this paper, combined with the testing process of submerged-gate casting, a multi-functional test bench has been designed.,...
