Perfluorosulfonate ion-exchanged membrane is not only a key component of the proton exchange membrane fuel cell and vanadium battery, but also be widely used in chloride-alkali industry, pervaporation, gas separation, photo catalysis and other field because of its excellent proton conductivity, physicochemical properties and the incomparable advantage of other materials. This article study on the process of preparation of perfluorosulfonate ion-exchanged membrane by solution casting method and research the effect of high-boiling point solvent, casting temperature, casting time on the properties of the membrane. Through testing the thermal properties, chemical stability, mechanical properties and hydration properties of the membrane find the optimum conditions. The main work is as follows:(1)Membranes was prepared in four different high-boiling point solvent which are N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone(NMP), Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO),1,2-propanediol and Dimethylacetamide(DMAC).Test the membrane properties and the result show, four kind of ion-exchanged membrane which are prepared in different solvent performance are good, in which the membrane prepared in NMP are best.(2)Casting temperature and casting time can affect crystallinity of the membrane, cause the changes of crystalline regularity and crystal particle size, resulting in difference in other properties. With increasing casting temperature and casting time, the size of crystal grains are gradually increased and crystalline regularity is improving, at the same time, the capacity of resisting solvent and tensile strength of the membrane increased, whereas water uptake of the ion-exchanged membrane decrease with the increasing casting temperature and time.(3)Analyzing the membrane by infrared spectra found that IR spectra of ionic membrane after the transition appeared the characteristic absorption peak of sulfonic acid group, intermolecular and water molecule.(4)The experiment measured the viscosity of the casting solution in different solid content at different temperature, the result showed that with the temperature raising the viscosity of the casting solution decreased, with the increasing concentration of the resin the viscosity increased.
