High pressure abrasive water jet technology is in at the beginning of the20thcentury, the rise of a new discipline, with its high efficiency, no pollution, no heatdistortion, smooth section and unique cutting advantages widely used in processing ofmetal materials for Yu Zhijin, machinery, shipbuilding and construction and militaryindustry. However, in practice, there are still many deficiencies, specifically in thefollowing areas:(1)Workers in the process of equipment operation, noise is very big, and sometimesshrill, it seriously affects the working mood of workers, but also a threat to the health ofworkers;(2)In the process of cutting steel plate, nozzle wear serious, frequent replacement,so as to improve the processing cost;(3)Cutting thick steel material and the improvement of working pressure causedobvious pressure pulsation. This has seriously affected the cutting quality, reduces theservice life of the parts;(4)Of steel processing,cutting seam quality decline caused by lag,returnphenomenon, and the optimization of its parameters is a difficult problem.This paper to ultra high pressure mixed abrasive water jet cutting system as theresearch object. Firstly, the noise generation mechanism of were theoretical analysis,mainly to study the jet turbulence noise and the cavitation noise, and puts forward themethod to decrease pressure pulsation and improved nozzle structure to reduce noise.Secondly, after the establishment of a mixed type abrasive jet flow fieldvisualization model, using FLUENT software to solve the nozzle of each node speed,according to the velocity field, discusses the main factors which influence the speed ofabrasive, results show that the hybrid cavity length, focus tube length and angle in anoptimal value, according to reduce the abrasive nozzle wear and reduce the energy lossin the nozzle angles, should adjust the mixing cavity of the cone angle to a reasonablevalue.Followed by an analysis of the pressure pulsation in the pressurization system, andthrough the MATLAB dynamic simulation software package Simulink modeling andSimulation of the. From the simulation can be seen, the system pressure pulsation and working pressure of ultra high pressure, pressure ratio, energy storage there is asignificant relationship between the volume and the change-over time. Through theanalysis of the turbocharging system of pressure pulsation, improved structure afterultra high pressure turbocharger system design provides a reference.Finally, based on the BP neural network is proposed for mixed abrasive water jetvelocity parameters prediction scheme, training and verifying the reliability of thenetwork model.
