| It is an efficient and economical mode of production pipes by cold roll forming. Itis mainly used in the production of straight-welded welded pipe. Cold roll forming ofpipes is a very complex process, the steel sheet related to a series of nonlinearityproblem, and has great challenges to design of process parameters. With thedevelopment of pipe products gradually direction to hi-grade steel and heavy thickness,more stringent to the control of the defects such as springback in process of cold rollforming of pipe is required, and make more difficult to design of process parameters.So, the paper attempts to study the optimization of process parameters for cold rollforming of pipe.The paper introduces the research situation of cold roll forming of pipe at thebeginning, including the research status of deformation mechanism of steel sheet andprocess parameters in the forming process. Based on elastic-plastic finite elementtheory, cold roll forming of a longitudinally welded pipe production line was regardedas the research object, and establishes the finite element analysis model for theproduction line in ABAQUS finite element analysis software. A prediction techniquefor springback of tube blank based on response surface method was presented, theprediction technique can predict the impact of changes of process parameters on thespringback of tube edge. Finally, optimized design the process parameters of a cold rollforming of a factory by used the prediction technique for springback of tube blankwhich based on response surface method, the optimized design results can be decreasethe springback on the edge of pipe, and the method of angle distribution whichcontribute to increase the quality of edge of pipe in the dual-radius forming waspresented according to the experimental data that in the process of optimizing design. |
