ZL114A alloy is a kind of casting Al-Si alloy which is widely used in aviation, aerospace and other fields. With the continuous improvement of performancerequirements of aviation, aerospace and other products for ZL114A alloy, it becomesincreasingly necessary for the new optimization of ZL114A alloy. In this paper, the three elements Si, Mg, Y of ZL114A alloy make the mainfactor of this paper, and the content of different levels of the three elements make theaverage level of optimization orthogonal experiment to study the optimal compositionratio of ZL114A alloy. Based on the optimum composition ratio, this paper study theheat treatment process of ZL114A alloy by comparative experiments, working out theoptimal heat treatment program of ZL114A alloy containing Y element. At the sametime, the best heat treatment program of ZL114A alloy is finalized through validationexperiments. By studying mechanical tensile properties and microstructuremorphology of heat orthogonal experiments and heat treatment experiments, thispaper works out the following conclusions:(1) The optimum composition ratio of ZL114A alloy when containing Y elementis:6.5%Si,0.52%Mg,0.08%Y,0.14%Ti,0.04%Be.(2) ZL114A alloy has good mechanical properties and the highest hardness at530℃,12h. Alloy has the maximum tensile strength and toughness when conductedat175℃, with the9h aging treatment. Taken all these conclusions together, it is thebest technology solution treatment of530℃,12h, the optimum aging process is175℃,9h.(3) After the comprehensive optimization, the tensile strength of ZL114A alloyafter validation experiments is more than360MPa, elongation greater than9.0%, andthe alloy fracture for toughness exercise, to meet the aerospace business requirementsof ZL114A alloy castings.
