High-purity quartz is w(SiO2)≧3N-5N(99.9-99.999%),w(Fe2O3)<10ppm quartz. High-purity quartz is the important row materials for producing crystalline silicon, quartz glass and basic material of integrated circuit. It has been playing the critical role for strategic emerging industries such as new energy and new materials.In order to promote China technology development of high-purity quartz, we introduced the general concept of high-purity quartz and its main varieties, and on the base of China technologies present of high-purity quartz processing. Take sichuan leshan Vein quartz for example.According to the main technology problems of the high-purity quartz in China, we put forward the development propositions including to the research of the product quality standard and their detection technology.The main research results or research progress are as follows:1High-purity quartz quality ICP detection technology research and application(1) ICP detecting in high-purity quartz quality, digestion and soluble ore is the key of high-purity quartz quality ICP detection techniques. The factors of Sample weight, reagent combination, reagent consumption, reagent purity have important influence in detection results.(2) ICP detecting in high-purity quartz quality, the optimization conditions of digestion and dissolve the mining are:high-purity quartz dosage is2000mg; The combination is HF+HNO3reagent, reagent purity is high purity level; HF dosage is25ml, if the sample dissolved out, can add5ml continue to dissolve; HNO3total amount quartile is≥5ml, use three times, the dosage quartile≥3ml1ml,1ml.(3) ICP detecting in high-purity quartz quality, in order to avoid iron pollution, we cannot use steel sieve screening samples, If high-purity quartz digestion and soluble ore is In the super clean laboratory conditions, which may reduce the error detection advantage.2High-purity quartz processing condition of the experimental research(1) Take Sichuan leshan W02samples for example, indicated that in high-purity quartz processing, after-baking quenching water temperature is650℃x2h.(2) Take Sichuan leshan W02samples for gangue, the processing of high-purity quartz technology optimization of conditions is:the particle size40-70mesh70or-140or140-200mesh eye,1#acid formula concentration20%, solid-liquid1:2, acid leaching temperature of90℃, acid leaching and stir4h.3High-purity quartz optimization of process conditions application of the experiment(1) the optimal conditions in different samples of the application experiment: Sichuan leshan W01, W02, W03three different samples samples of the impurity content was significantly lower, purification effect is obvious, SiO2content up to more than4N, achieve technical indexes requirements of quartz glass and silicon wafers with high purity quartz sand raw material.(2) the optimal conditions in different particle size of the application of the test: Take Sichuan leshan W01samples for gangue, the test results indicated that Si content are already above4N in-40mesh,40-70mesh,70-140mesh and-140mesh samples.In General, and the smaller size, the effect of purification is obvious.(3) optimized conditions in different application of acid formula test:Take Sichuan leshan W01samples for gangue, the optimized conditions to8acid for purification processing test, test results indicated that the rest of the seven acid formula can be able to make Si content more than4N, in addition to8#acid formula.
