With the accelerated process of urbanization and industrialization in China, a large number of industrial enterprises were moved out from the city, which left a large number of contaminated sites and caused serious pollution problems. Because of the remediation technology, equipment, and many other factors limited in China, our remediation work is lagging. In order to meet the needs of urbanization on urban land use, reducing soil remediation cycle, improving the efficiency of site remediation, reducing the risk of site reuse, and conducting a new study on remediation technology and equipment has profound practical significance, which not only can speed up the process of soil remediation, also can promote the healthy development of China’s environmental remediation industry.This article is on the basis of existing research in our lab. The research and application of equipment about the method of ultrasonic-zero-valent iron rapid degradation of chlorinated organic pollutants in soil and microwave-assisted leaching remediation technology for soils contaminated by heavy metals were studied. Main contents and results of the study are summarized as follows:(1) The pilot scale equipment was researched and designed on the basis of ultrasonic-zero-valent iron laboratory research, and then the equipment was used to remediate soil from contaminated site, the results showed that:Ultrasonic-zero-valent iron pilot scale equipment takes full advantage of the synergistic effect of ultrasonic and zero-valent iron in degrading the organochlorine contaminants, to complete the remediation of contaminated soils. A number of pilot tests show that this equipment have a good removal effect on a large amount of contaminated soil, in addition, it has simple structure, which is stable, flexible, and easy to operate and move; the pilot equipment can handle100kg contaminated soil in a single batch, and the processing time is90min. We used this pilot equipment to treat the polluted soil from pesticide plant where the main pollutants are organic chlorine compounds. After treated by the equipment, the removal of total organochlorine pollutants reached65%, the residues of each organochlorine pollutants in soils have reached the United States EPA Screening Level. Overall, the equipment and method in the field of soil remediation and practical engineering have broad prospects for the promotion and application.(2)Based on the early experiment study of Microwave-Assisted leaching of heavy metals in soil, in this article, we increased the amount of experiment soil to study the effect of Microwave-Assisted leaching on a large number of contaminated soil, the results showed that:When the experiment soil increased from0.5g to30g, the removal rate of Zn, Pb, and Cd reached99%、82%and26%under the condition of Microwave-Assisted for20minutes, which has a much better effect than traditional leaching for4hours. Therefore, heavy metals in soil by Microwave-Assisted chemical leaching has good effects, and can greatly reduce the leaching time and improve the leaching efficiency; The Microwave-Assisted chemical leaching equipment was designed and manufactured to remediate the soil polluted by heavy metals. Besides, we solved the problem of leaching agent for recycling, the equipment has simple structure, it is easy to operate and move, and there was no question of microwave leakage. In the field of soil remediation and practical engineering, this equipment has a good prospect. There still needs more advanced and mature research to achieve the promotion of technology and equipment and large-scale industrial application.
