Technical Analysis On Iirdescence Effect Of Huishan Painted Sculpture And Its Application In Fabirc Innovation

The colored drawing is the important reflection for colorful artistic effect of claysculpture. As for Huishan painted sculpture with bright features of folk color in the regionssouth of the Yangtze River, the overall color is structured, and the great attention is paid tokinds of color, coloring skills and techniques. By virtue of unique form of color expression,the “iridescence” adds artistic expression style of painted sculpture. The iridescence skills areunique and common coloring skills in Huishan painted sculpture, with diversified means; thepurpose is to realize a natural transition of color from dark to light so as to express exquisiteand accurate color language via several kinds of easy colors.Firstly, this paper summarizes and classifies the representation of “iridescence” inHuishan painted sculpture. The researcher has carried out field investigation on China clayfigure museum and Wuxi clay figure workshop for many times; through taking photos, andface-to-face interview and inquiry on Ms. Ding Miao, who is the apprentice of paintedsculpture master Wang Nanxian and now works in Wuxi clay figure workshop, the researcherhas collected large quantity of first-hand image, data, and text. Then, on theoretical basis, thispaper selects representative works with obvious representation of iridescence among Huishanpainted sculpture works collected in China clay figure museum to carry out statisticalclassification, adopts the technique of combining pictures with text to analysis relevant mainiridescence parts, and summarizes3representation functions of iridescence. Furthermore,according to the ancient painting theory of “paint a shape according to original shape, color acolor according to original color”, this paper extracts the abstract spirit method from nature,and takes Huishan painted sculpture works selected from China clay figure museum andinquiry on many artists in Wuxi clay figure workshop as research basis to summarize theiridescence as6kinds of main skills.Secondly, this paper carries out analysis on the reason why the “iridescence” which canmake the object highlight3D impression and qualitative perception and also make the objectdecorative has different expression effects, and the reason attributes to different materialsselected and different techniques. Furthermore, according to the theory of ancient painting“paint the shape according to shape, and paint the color according to color”, this paperextracts the theory of abstract spirit from the nature, which enriches the expression ofiridescence effect and promotes the innovation of iridescence skills. This paper takesHuishan painted sculpture works selected from Chinese clay figure museum as research basisand summarizes iridescence as6kinds of main skills.Thirdly, Huishan painted sculpture combines time feature with contemporary artbackground, reasonably applies contemporary forms of art and concepts which are effectivelyinherited and developed, and also retains expression skills and forms with high aesthetic value.This paper further researches the language of formal beauty and features of aesthetic form,and summarizes the rules. As a kind of symbolized expression method in folk creation, the“iridescence” completes abstract and general handling on original shape, makes specificimage step from messy to orderly and from monotonous to regular, and provides visual simplicity; as a kind of featured detail expression technique, the “iridescence” enriches formallanguage of coloring on painted sculpture, accurately expresses skin color and temperament,texture, volume and pattern, and further extracts the image, materializes the formal beauty,and finally forms language style.Finally, this paper specifically explains several steps of important stages for applicationof expression forms of iridescence into fabric innovation, analyzes artistic style andsignificance of application of iridescence into fabric innovation, takes printing and dyeing,embroidery as an example to analyze traditional expression forms of iridescence, furthersummarizes the application form of several kinds of iridescence (such as plane, texture,overlaying, and combined type) into fabric, and makes example analysis and contrast withbrand show field in recent years. After many kinds of application methods are illustrated, thispaper proposes application principle for application of iridescence into fabric innovation forthe purpose of constraint and guidance.
