Grinding burn is generated in the grinding process which produces instantaneous high temperature makes workpiece surface have microstructuring change or softened deformation, and some of the workpiece surface appears oxidized and discoloured phenomenon. Visibly, grinding zone tables the instantaneous high temperature which is the main condition to emerge the badness layer. So the establishment of grinding burn theory in the grinding zone is mainly based on the research of temperature. Only on the basis of fully understanding of the source of grinding temperature generated leads to grinding burn can we make reasonable explanation of the phenomenon and improved way. This paper based on planar grinding45steel, first from the angle of leading to produce grinding burn of factors, which includes the basic grinding parameters and also includes the grinding processing conditions. Then it discuses grinding burn cause of the theoretical generalization, namely grinding area of short-term reach high temperature is the main cause to produce grinding burn.On this basis, this paper attempts to through a variety of methods of grinding zone simulation to obtain the corresponding temperature distribution and residual stress distribution Then it starts from this purpose, focused on the following research:(1) According to the characteristics of grinding process, from its processing Tableing mechanism of grinding zone temperature, study the source and calculation method generated by this theory, and analysis of the theoretical model a grinding which include heat source model and temperature transmission model.(2) On the basis of the establishment of theoretical model, the milling process influenced by grinding parameters is discussed in detail, through the finite element analysis software to estable a simplified the entity model of grinding zone in some basic gringding parameters. Add some basic loading conditions of grinding situation to excute the effective simulation. Through the changes of various processing parameters grinding zone to discuss the influence of the temperature of the influence degree of each parameter and trend, which can optimize the parameters of concrete analysis, thus achieve measures and methods can gradually alleviate some of the grinding burn.(3) Because the temperature in the grinding zone causes mainly from materials large plastic deformation and grinding wheel grits strong friction with workpiece. In this process, with the establishment of the reasonable theory model, grinding machining status simulations were perTableed from the perspective of the numerical analysis. Obtaining the simulation results of the finite element similar from different sides, but it adds the finite element simulation on existing limitations when verifies each grinding parameters’influence on temperature more rationally.(4) From the process simulation of grinding with single abrasive particle on the state, so can the grinding simulation from microcosmic angle draw more intuitive analysis, and further verifies the influence of grinding parameter trend.(5) Based on the simulation of grinding process, various parameters can put forward the practical optimization method of the grinding parameter, and discusses the influence factors are analyzed, and the processing method for the optimization of the possible implementation.
