Automobile enforcement panel can add to the strength of the steel plate in the body stress weak place, reduce body weight and fuel consumption. Enforcement panel usually use high strength steel (HSS) plate to stamping in the modern automobile manufacture. Yield strength and tensile strength of HSS higher than ordinary steel, elongation and hardening index is lower than ordinary steel plate as a result of forming performance greatly reduced. With the development of sheet metal forming CAE technology, the use of CAE to predict and control the forming process of wrinkling、tearing and springback has become the hot point and difficulty in recent years. The main contents are as follows:1) The forming characteristics of enforcement plate are carries on the process analysis, and determine the shape and size of blank and die structure design, stamping equipment tonnage.2) The finite element model of reinforcing plate is established; determine the forming process parameters and numerical simulation analysis for stamping process. The process parameters are optimized after analysis the simulation results, so as to get the reasonable forming process conditions.3) Springback analysis. The springback results are in good agreement through the numerical simulation results and the practical experimental results. The accuracy of numerical simulation is verified by experiment, which provides guidance for the actual production.It accurately predicted defects of the actual stamping process and controlled through numerical simulation and springback analysis of automobile enforcement panel stamping. Thus it can timely modify process program or die structure before the die manufacturing. Greatly shorten the mold manufacturing cycle.
