Firstly, the process of solid glyoxylate by ozone oxidation was optimized. The gas feedstock of ozone generator was changed from air to oxygen, and the scale of ozone generator was changed from5Kg/h to20Kg/h. The effects of gas feedstock and scale ozone generator on the reaction results were investigated in the text. The results showed that the reaction time was significantly shorter and the yield and purity of solid glyoxylate were improved compared with previous production conditions.Analysis method of solid glyoxylate processed by ozone oxidation was studied by sodium sulfite titration. The influence of the amount of sodium sulfite, the existence of. formic acid and oxalic acid to the the determination of glyoxylate were investigated. The results showed that the excess sodium sulfite doubled had fully satisfied the requirements and the existence of formic acid and oxalic acid had no effect on the determination of glyoxylate content. The precision experiments and spiked recovery experiment of samples were carried on this basis. The results showed that, the relative standard deviation was0.4872%~0.7851%, and the recovery was96.34%~100.02%. Therefore, the method could meet the analytical requirements of product quality with good accuracy and repeatability. Currently, this test method has not been reported.The recycling and utilizing of formic acid byproduct processed by ozone oxidation for producing solid glyoxylate were studied, and the effects of reaction materials, reaction temperature, feed ratio and reaction time on the preparation of calcium formate were investigated. Under the optimum conditions of calcium hydroxide as raw material, reaction temperature30~35℃, n(formic acid):n(calcium hydroxide)=2.10:1and reaction time25min, the yield of calcium formate was over97%, and the purity of calcium formate was over98%.An annual output of500tons of solid glyoxylate production by ozone oxidation were designed, and the main equipmens were selected and calculated, the structure diagram of ozonation reactor was draw. Workshop equipments were furnished according to the principles of plant layout and lists of equipment were proposed.The flow charts with control points were drawed at last.
