| In order to grasp and research on the main pollution characteristics of thesuburban River in the process of urbanization, this paper studied on two rivers whichwith typical characteristics in the rapid urbanization area in the northeast of Shenyang,mainly took the middle and upper reaches of Huishan open channel flows through thetownship area and the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River basin which flowsthrough industrial park as the object.Based on the monitoring of water quality andsediment, application water quality identification index and other evaluation methodwere used to determine the main pollution factors and pollution characteristics of thetwo rivers in water quality and sediment, and analysis the main sources of pollutants inwater, production and the influence of river pollution. The results are as follows:(1) Single factor water quality identification index shows that the CODCr, BOD5and TN index are the largest in the middle and upper reaches of Huishan open channelbasin,respectively are59.59,110.09and36.49.The main pollutants are soluble organicmatter and nitrogen nutritional substances. And NH4+-N, TN and TP index is thelargest in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River basin, respectively are12.89,13.39and10.37.The main pollutant is nutritional substance.(2)Comprehensive water quality identification index shows that the waterqualities of two rivers are seriously polluted. The water quality level is class IV in themiddle and upper reaches of Huishan open channel basin in addition to the initialsection, the rest13sections are inferior Ⅴ, and71%of water is black smelly. Exceptthe end cross-section is class Ⅳ in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow Riverbasin, the rest seven sections are inferior Ⅴ, and59%water sampling section is blacksmelly.(3)There are14sediment sample sections in the middle and upper reaches ofHuishan open channel basin and eight sediment sample sections in the middle andlower reaches of the Yellow River basin, only total lead is unqualified in the startingsection of huishan channel. The28%of cross-section of the sediment in the middle and upper reaches of Huishan open channel basin and the25%of cross-section of thesediment in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River basin have reached thedegree of nutrient pollution class Ⅲ, indicating that several points of sediment benthiccommunities may suffer significant damage and the remaining points are class Ⅱnutritional pollution, the sediment has been polluted, but most of the benthic organismscan afford. Water pollution brought sediment eutrophication pollution.(4) Each year total production amount of CODCr, TN, TP, sewage, manure, solidwaste in the middle and upper reaches of Huishan open channel basin areapproximately240tons,820tons,240tons,1.2million tons,4700tons, and2000tons.And each year in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River basin, CODCrTN,TP, sewage, manure, solid waste generation are total about180tons,60tons,6tons,2.3million tons,210tons and60tons. Emissions of these pollutants are the maincauses of serious water pollution in the suburban of two rivers.(5) The sharing ratio of river water pollution shows that those industrial sourcesof contaminants sharing rate is above60%in the middle and lower reaches of theYellow River basin; Life, agriculture and runoff sources of pollutants sharing rate arerespectively97%,70%and65%in the middle and upper reaches of Huishan openchannel basin. Industrial pollution is major source of pollution in the middle and lowerreaches of the Yellow River basin. Life, agriculture and runoff pollution are the majorsources of pollution in the middle and upper reaches of Huishan open channel basin.Life, agriculture, and runoff pollution sources brought the soluble organic matter andnitrogen nutritional substances and other major pollutants for the middle and upperreaches of Huishan open channel basin which flows through the township area.Industrial pollution has brought the nutritional substance for the middle and lowerreaches of the Yellow River which flows through industrial park.(6) Rapid urbanization has brought the complex sources of pollution to SuburbanRiver in northeast of Shenyang, resulting in serious pollution of river. |
