Special wettability surface material has aroused wide concern in the field of coating, waterproof and biomedical materials because of its unique physical and chemical properties.Wettability is one of important properties of solid surface,to be decided jointly by the surface chemical composition and geometrical structures.Solid surface wettability is usually measured by gauging contact angle, when the droplet is in contact with a solid surface,it will keep the droplet shape or became thin water film on the surface. With the development of science and technology, titanium gets much more attention and has being widely used for human implantation because of its excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and biocompatibilityFirstly, micro/nano-structures surfaces with super-hydrophilic on TA4are achieved by using sandblast-acid etching. By comparatively study on different processes we find that porous surface micro/nano-structures with super-hydropbilic can be achieved by etching in H2SO4/HCI solution, and it is better than HF/HNO3&H2SO4/HCl double solution.Secondly, titanium oxide surfaces are achieved on SLA surfaces by using plasma oxidation base on PECVD vacuum film-plating machine. The adhesion and proliferation experiments of osteogenic cells showed that biological of plasma treated sample is very active when the titanium surfaces are achieved on SLA only. But using plasma oxidation, that biological of plasma treated sample is more active. Finally, after oxygen annealing the titanium surfaces, assess the effect of oxygen annealing on the wettability of titanium oxide film.Above all, this paper begins with creating micro/nano-structures which is very important to surface with special wettability. Mainly research is the effects of the SLA and plasma oxidation on wettability of titanium and titanium alloys surfaces. We obtain some interesting and useful results. It laid the some foundation for subsequent in-depth study.
