Hydraulic pipeline is the important part of hydraulic machine. The design of thehydraulic pipeline directly relates to whether the machine can operate normally. However,traditional pipeline design is limited in the design of the shape of pipeline, without takinginto consideration of the influence of the flow field in pipelines and the frequency ofpipeline itself. Referring to the actual production of hydraulic machine in a factory andconsideration of the layout design of pipeline, flow field, the vibration of the pipeline andother elements, this paper mainly completes the following work.A three-dimensional model of a hydraulic machine is established, in which ICEM isapplied in meshing the elbow, tee, and important pipeline and CFD is imported toanalysis the flow field of elbow. At the same time, six kinds of working conditions of teeare analyzed in flow field and temperature. An improved design of the Z-shaped pipelineproposed in this paper has been verified by CFD analysis and formulas. The basicprinciples of pipeline design are proposed and ANSYS Workbench is applied to modalanalysis and compare with the four common designs of L-shaped pipeline by avoiding thenatural frequency of flow fluctuation, and then these basic principles are applied in thethree-dimensional design and on-site production of metallurgical equipment.Combining with the CFD analysis and design principles, and applying the routing plugsof Solidworks software in pipeline design of hydraulic machine, the model arranges theline of a pipe and total pipe of hydraulic machine. What’s more, the pipeline iscompletely designed and the position and space of pipe clamps are ultimately determinedaccording to the modal analysis. At last, the design for the pipeline is finished. Theprinciples of pipeline design presenting in this paper has been verified by practice, whichhas a certain reference significance for pipeline design of hydraulic machine and otherheavy equipment.
