Coking Industry is a large energy consumption of Iron and Steel Industry,where there exists a lot of heat waste. It is the backwardness of process and yield,the rough mode of production and Equipment characteristics that not only causes a lot of heat waste,but also causes environmental pollution. Faced with increasingly severe environmental situation and the urgent need for fine chemical production, Waste heat recovery is particularly important.How to recovery the waste heat and reduce the production of comprehensive energy consumption, has a far-reaching impact on the development of enterprises and na-tional economy progress.The temperature of Coke-Oven Raw Gas from the carbonization chamber is650~750℃, In term of heat of Coke oven products,Coke-Oven Raw Gas’Sensible heat makes up36percent. The composition of Coke-Oven Raw Gas is very complex,mainly consists of clean gas, water vapor,tar, crude benzene and other components. The Primary Cooling of Coke-Oven Raw Gas is the foundation of gas subsequent purification. The traditional raw gas quenching uses indirect cooling after the first direct quenching process.Direct quenching using70~80℃circulating ammonia spraying high temperature waste gas makes the temperature of Coke-Oven Raw Gas quickly dropped to80~90℃,most of tar from Coke-Oven Raw Gas impurities into circulation aqueous ammonia,and finish Coke-Oven Raw cooling and preliminary purification process.But the heat of high temperature is Serious devaluated into a low-temperature latent heat of vaporization of ammonia. Subsequent indirect cooling process uses recycled water to cool Coke-Oven Raw Gas to20~23℃. The heat which token away by the recycled water is made by both quench the heat generated in the process of latent heat of ammonia and water vapor and latent heat of condensation and the sensible heat of Coke-Oven Raw Gas when its quenched, thus recycled water consumption is large and large area of Primary Cooler. It’s very difficult to recovery the waste Heat of Coke-Oven Raw Gas,because it composition is very complicate and tend to coke at high temperature. Although now there are a variety of raw gas heat recovery techniques,but it has not been effective application due to the low recovery efficiency and poor stability.Firstily,This paper discusses the basic properties of Coke-Oven Raw Gas, the gas dew point corrosion and coking characteristics at high temperature,then combining with the production process of low temperature heat sink,we put forward for the actual working conditions of shortage of gas heat cascade recycling, utilization program. Imitating from pyrolysis of hydrocarbons of petrochemical system, catalytic cracking, delayed coking process in high temperature oil gas heat recovery method, and we aise temperature, medium temperature, low-temperature heat cascade recycling programs, and use direct or indirect quench, and lithium bromide refrigeration or heat pump technology to achieve low calorie shortage of gas utilization.
