At present, China’s glass furnaces are produced mainly based on float glass, in order to make waste heat in flue gas of the glass furnace to got efficient recycling, every country has attached great importance to the development and adoption of relevant new technologies. In the technology of recycling waste heat in glass furnace flue gas at home and abroad, currently the furnace above500t is mainly using cogeneration technology, for furnaces below500t,they primarily follow waste heat steam boilers. But for the use of steam,the glass manufacturers face a fact that it exist seasonal differences and timing differences, which causes a poor use of flue gas waste heat in the glass furnace and phenomenon of a straight row. Hence, in this paper, it considers using heat-exchanging program by way of organic heat carrier to recycling waste heat resources in glass furnace flue gas and to preheat the combustion air so that it can reach full use of waste heat, get better efficiency andreduce energy consumption.As a fundamental goal, studies in this paper concentrates on the low consumption, low emission energy, high efficiency taking advantage of waste heat resources in flue gas and combustion air preheat from different perspectives,thus achieving economic, social and environmental benefits of unity. This project preliminarily gives a more reasonable air preheater solution combing a design study in a glass factory issue.Methods of this subject, calculation methods and design ideas of this project can be extended to other similar other furnaces’ microthermal waste heat recovery and unility design programs.
