The roadway will meet some poor geological sections including some large fault fracture zone in the project of the mine. Due to the complicated geological conditions, some geological disasters like water inrush and roof fall may happen when the roadway group through the fault fracture zone.It makes the supporting to be difficulty, large deformation may happen in the process of use the roadway, it cause the supporting structure to be instability and failure.To control and support the stability of the surrounding rock of fault zone is the key. Researching the stress distribution characteristics of the fault zone, surrounding rock deformation mechanism and control technique through the analysis of the engineering geological conditions of fault fault region, proposed the supporting scheme of roadway crossing large faults, and through the field monitoring data to evaluate the support pattern which makes mine engineering design and construction is more reasonable.Using the transient electromagnetic advanced detection methods to evaluat the fault zone which have rich water. Combined with the existing geological data to analyse and compare. Drawing in the detection range in the north wing rail rock without water conductivity and the overallwater cut of weak. Using rock and soil analysis software calculation and analysis platform and considering the roadway in the geological and hydrogeological conditions, stress environment and mechanical properties of surrounding rock, then analysing the stress field of surrounding rock when the roadway excavationed. To determine the relationship between the deformation and failure of surrounding pressure and the rock. Analysing the bracket section parameters and structure parameters design according to the relationship between section parameters and the support performance through the calculation of ultimate bearing capacity.It gets the conclusion that useing the enclosed supports is more favorable by specific conditions of the second coal mine of Yuandian. Observe the roadway deformation in construction field and combining with the construction method,it can be know that the supporting scheme is reasonable and the roadway group passed the fault fracture zone.successfully.
