Distributed Agent-based Complex Systems Modeling And Simulation

The complex system typically has a large scale and complex hierarchy. Its subsystems are interconnected with nonlinear interactions, and its sub-models are diverse with certain intelligence. It cannot be described only use traditional mathematical models, but need to be studied more comprehensive and in-depth. Although there are many theoretical methods about studying complex systems, many problems still exist. Based on Agent modeling technology, HLA simulation technology and BOM reuse technology; the paper does the research of complex systems such as "military confrontation for the combat system" and so on. It will achieve intelligent and high reusable model and distributed simulation.Firstly, after introducing Agent modeling technology, and HLA simulation technology, and BOM reuse technology, the paper proposes an "Agent-based Distributed Modeling and Simulation of Complex Systems" framework. Then it discusses the modeling operation and simulation process of complex systems based on the ADMSCS framework. It also resolves the reuse problem of simulation systems developed on the ADMSCS framework by proposing a process about reusing the simulation component.Secondly, the paper discusses the method of modeling Agent model which is in the ADMSCS framework, including the design of sensor, decision-making component, rule base, actuator, effecter, and learning component. These designs reflect the fusion of Agent modeling technology and HLA simulation technology in-depth. Also the paper studies the learning process of Agent in the Agent learning component with ID3 decision tree learning algorithm.Thirdly, according to the simulation component reuse process based on the ADMSCS framework, the paper discusses the develop method of Agent-based BOM. Based on BOM reuse technology and the intelligent information of Agent model, the paper designs the Agent-based BOM template content. Also the paper studies how to select the appropriate Agent-based BOMs from the component library and form into a simulation system model and its sub-model.Finally, to verify the contents of this study, the paper takes the "sky-ground confrontation Combat System" as the simulation scenario system to design and develop the simulation system model based on ADMSCS framework. It achieves the simulation task of the simulation scenario system to verify the results of this research.
