With the development of visualization in scientific computing, visualization is widely applied in the analyzing of the engineering computing. Adopting the method (being made up of real time air pressure field data, the method for numerical wind forecasting and the method for numerical wave forecasting) of wind wave forecasting this paper presents the system of wind wave forecasting and its visualization, which is relevant with the finite difference method, visualization part is the main work of this paper. The development of system adopts "Object-Oriented Programming" (OOP) technologies, which is according to exploiting model of software projects from the program designing to code editing. This paper gets the goal of the independence of the model and the abstracting of the concept and the concealing of the information. The code of programming have good readability and can be executed with high efficiency, and we can manage and extend it easily.Builded on Windows 98, the whole system is developed with VC6.0++, and using ACCESS database for managing input and output of data, thus not only taking advantage of convenient and efficiencies of software exploited in Windows environment, but also making most use of virtues of concision and efficiencies and mightiness of C++ language . Not only using the knowledge of computer graphic to realize the zoom of view, but also some arithmetics and some data structures are used in drawing of contour line and borderline, so it can be applied in other topographty. the system uses the arrowhead to express the speed vector of wind field and uses the contour line and color cloud to express the height of wave field.Comprehensive uses of multi-technologies enables this system to be expected design purpose: interface friendly, operation easily and function powerfully. The system finished the job of visualization, and it also can be extended and migrated easily.
